The Advance Co was founded by Jack Murray, a production, tour & stage manager with over a decade of experience working across the live events and music industry. Over the past 10 years, Jack has worked on the road with top 40 artists, production companies, promoters, and agencies, helping deliver everything from intimate shows to international tours.

After many years on the road, Jack made the decision to step back to focus on family life — but not from the industry he knows inside out. During that transition, he recognised that advancing, logistics, and procurement were often being handled by people far removed from the realities of touring. Critical decisions were being made without a true understanding of what actually happens on site, in a loading dock, or during a 4am load-in.

The Advance Co. was created to bridge that gap. Built on real, hands-on touring experience, we provide advancing, logistics, and procurement services that are practical, realistic, and designed to make shows run better. We understand how productions really work because we’ve lived them — dealing with venues, suppliers, crews, budgets, and timelines in the real world, not just on spreadsheets.

Our goal is simple: to support artists, production teams, and promoters by handling the complex behind-the-scenes work that allows events to run smoothly, efficiently, and without unnecessary stress — so everyone can focus on delivering great shows.
